FLOAT SWITCH

A float switch is an automatic liquid level controller used to detect the level of liquid within a tank, reservoir, or sump. It operates by opening or closing an electrical circuit as the liquid level rises or falls. The switch is equipped with a floating mechanism that moves with the liquid surface, activating the internal micro-switch to start or stop pumps, control valves, or alarms.
